Golden was chosen for the JCCC 2022 graphic design showcase because after all, we are back in the roaring 20’s, or shall I say roaring 2020’s. Many events occurring now are a reflection of what happened in the 1920’s, especially with the pandemics. Golden speaks to this graduating class, rising up and bringing about the next golden era of design. Golden is another word for someone with a bright and promising future or someone of great talent. The visual direction of the showcase and the name itself is a call back to the gold aesthetic and detail prominent in the 1920’s.
